ESA BIC startups on business mission to the USA
A business mission to the USA, organised by the Czech Chamber of Commerce, is currently underway, focusing on space technology, smart mobility and new technologies in transport. The 70-member delegation includes eight startups that have received support from the ESA BIC incubator.
The mission is part of a visit of the Minister of Transport, Martin Kupka, who is accompanied by representatives of established Czech technology companies, as well as startups, universities and research institutes. Their focus ranges from the production of composite materials for transport, textiles and construction, to the development of artificial intelligence for satellite data analysis or the creation of navigation maps and autonomous train control systems, to the development of microwave technologies for seamless asphalt surface repair, or the production of check-in systems, payment card systems and specialised electronics.
During the seven-day trip, the delegation’s agenda includes several seminars, a business forum and business meetings with American companies, a visit to several major US technology companies and a visit to the Texas Department of Transportation.
We believe that this mission – the largest ever to the USA – will help Czech entrepreneurs make valuable contacts and introduce the Czech Republic to the US as a technologically advanced business partner.
