INTRODUCTION

ICEE.Space is an international space test, research, and development start-up for future human space exploration.

With our analogue missions in Isolated, Confined and Extreme Environments, such as CHILL-ICE, we provide commercial analogue astronaut training and experiences as testbeds for upcoming lunar research and systems in extreme environments on Earth. In addition, ICEE.Space aims to help develop the first European space suit, inflatable habitats and remote power and communication systems, using the latest market technologies. ICEE.Space aims to make space research and analogue missions easier to understand, safer, and accessible to all.

ICEE.Space is a highly unique company in the way that it is one of the very few analogue astronaut missions hosting and testing companies in the world without any type of permanent base, private location, or permanent mission crew – whilst still being able to participate in and deliver world-class research in multiple topics.
We are the only terrestrial lightweight mobile analogue mission in the world, which allows us to enjoy several great competitive advantages in modularity, data capturing, high levels of field-specific expertise, and flexibility to provide a full mission, or only key components:

• Our main strength comes from our highly international and interdisciplinary support team with industry and governmental experiences – and an even wider professional network. Because of this. ICEE.Space all the crucial analogue astronautical knowledge in-house to deliver quality services and products as the customer requests.
• This also ensures that we can be as modular and location-independent as we already are: Thanks to the modular and deployable facilities, the size of any of our independently organized missions can be adapted to nearly any situation or condition. Because most of our products are already in development or undergoing testing in our own or our co-organized missions, even new customers’ request can be established in a short time frame. Eventually, our goal is to (co-)organize missions all over the world; in different environments, locations, crews. And this all with the flexibility to relocate anywhere per customer request, or against geopolitical issues, infectious disease situations, etc.
• Lastly, ICEE.Space provides not only a testbed, but also the key components and systems that are required separately. From simulated spacesuits, environmental monitoring systems, remote and underground power- and communication systems, as well as the crucial inflatable habitats. For our customers, we can provide a wide range of services depending on their needs; from something as small as consults on how to select a mission location, to a full and all-included astronaut simulation mission. This can even be extended to full data capturing and monitoring. Since our missions and equipment are built from the ground up, nearly all data of crew’s life can be stored, for research purposes, to improve the astronauts’ life, as well as the quality of the facility.
