INTRODUCTION

Octogeo provides world maps and pre-processed earth observation data for the entire planet in a form which allows direct application in end user products – such as creating high-quality digital maps, web applications, mobile apps, games and virtual reality, offline software, navigation systems and embedded devices, video animations and printed products. In the first phase, OctoGEO is going to process the freely available satellite and aerial imagery and terrain data. The workflow and gained knowhow is later going to be applied on commercial satellite data, drone imagery, etc.
